The real squash will eventually be roasted whole and eaten, but until then, this parade will grow, change, temporarily retreat, swell as November and late harvest comes, then gradually dwindle as Yule approaches.
But until then, the flickering lights of Jack and his companions welcomes you to early harvest and autumn! Stay warm… :)
